About The Position

We are seeking a candidate who has excellent communication and great customer service with a diverse internal and external customer base. Preferred candidates will possess strong time management, organizational skills, and critical thinking. The position requires data management and administrative support for the Board of Ground Water Management. Preferred candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, paralegal experience, and professional administrative experience of at least three years or more. Responsibilities

  • Reviewing well licensing renewal applications for completeness along with continuing education units and fee payment.
  • Communicating with well driller applicants to guide and answer questions relative to the application and testing process.
  • Performing routine data entry, quality assurance, and data reporting using internal databases. Resolving incomplete and inaccurate data or information.
  • Providing administration duties for the Board of Groundwater Management, including, but not limited to: scheduling board meetings, ensuring compliance with Sunshine Notice requirements, organizing the board files, recording board meetings, providing ADA support during/after board meetings, mailing licenses/letters, informing applicants of results of board meetings, and coordinating with board attorney or Water Well Program technical staff.
  • Support other administrative tasks as requested.
