Administrative Services Assistant - data systems experience
About The Position
Primary job duties will include, but are not limited to: Process and enter hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) laboratory and case data in NBS (surveillance system) Review and manage assigned surveillance and document review queues Apply CDC/CSTE case definitions to determine case status Identify acute, reinfection, perinatal, infant, and fetal death cases Perform routine data cleaning and quality assurance Process paper, electronic, and orphaned laboratory reports Resolve data discrepancies and incomplete records Coordinate medical record requests as assigned Communicate data issues and notable findings to the team leader Participate in required meetings, training, and team activities Contractor Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; data entry or data systems experience and medical or public health knowledge preferred
