About The Position

The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation and Reentry is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Complex Warden and Unit Managers at ASPC–Winslow. This position is responsible for managing daily operations of the Warden’s Office, handling confidential correspondence, preparing reports, and coordinating administrative functions. The role requires a high level of discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a secure correctional environment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of ADCRR policies and procedures and Arizona Department of Administration personnel rules
  • Knowledge of Administrative and office management practices
  • Knowledge of Business English, grammar, and professional correspondence
  • Knowledge of Records management and filing systems
  • Knowledge of General procurement procedures
  • Knowledge of Office software, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of professional administrative experience supporting a manager or administrator
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Complex Warden’s Office, including correspondence, visitors, phone calls, and special projects
  • Maintain the Warden’s calendar and coordinate meetings, appointments, and conferences
  • Attend meetings, record, and transcribe minutes
  • Prepare reports, memos, and a wide variety of correspondence
  • Collect, research, and compile data for reports and special projects
  • Maintain confidential administrative, inmate, and staff records in accordance with retention schedules
  • Support administrative staff; serve as backup when needed
  • Retrieve and distribute mail and prepare records for archiving
  • Drive on State business as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
