This position is responsible for supporting store operations by providing friendly and prompt assistance to customers and employees. This position enhances 4 Rivers Equipment high-quality customer service and provides a friendly atmosphere and a caring attitude. Must possess the ability to interact with employees and customers in a professional and positive manner. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with minimum one year administrative experience.
  • Professional and positive demeanor
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Able to type 50 words per minute
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Able to multi-task
  • Business casual dress
  • Able to sit at work station for the majority of an ten-hour workday
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality is vital. Must attend work regularly and to arrive at work on time. Failure to do so detrimentally affects team morale and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Following Duties at the Front Desk:
  • Operate Dialpad to route incoming calls
  • Welcome and assist customers or vendors as needed when entering the store
  • Handle customer requests for documentation such as credit applications, invoice requests, payments, etc.
  • Sort mail, and email invoices to customers daily 
  • Open and distribute all incoming mail
  • Work with A/R and A/P getting information to Admin offices
  • Balance tills & cash box, prepare weekly deposits
  • Assist with Customer Portal sign-ups and password resets
  • Assist Store Manager and Sales Department:
  • Order and track whole goods thru Deere
  • Order and track Allied Attachments and Equipment
  • Submit vendor invoices in Filebound for Rental Department Accounts Payables for Rental Department
  • Track & update customer rental insurance
  • Maintain and order Sales Literature
  • Prepare cold call scripts and make cold calls to customers
  • Assist with set-up and break down of store events
  • Assist with planning store events and customer events
  • Assist Service Manager and Service Department
  • Assist with internal work order tracking
  • Assist with updating internal machine tracking systems
  • Work closely with Service Manager to prioritize shop needs
  • Work closely with rental and sales teams to prioritize customer needs
  • Other duties and some special projects as assigned by store management
