The Administrative Programs Officer I for the Nebraska Commission on African American Affairs is responsible for coordinating and managing key administrative and program functions that support the Commission’s mission. This position oversees office operations, assists with budgeting and fiscal processes, conducts research and analysis, and prepares reports for leadership and stakeholders. Acting as a liaison between the Commission, community partners, and government agencies, the role ensures effective communication, compliance, and progress toward strategic goals. The position requires independent judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to interpret policies and resolve operational issues in a small agency environment.
