About The Position

Legacy Transportation Services is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Administrative Operations Coordinator to join their team in Chicago, IL. This role provides essential administrative, operational, and customer support to ensure smooth daily branch functions and accurate logistics coordination.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or office environment experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with effective problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and routine administrative duties
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior customer service and/or logistics experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support daily office operations and ensure timely task completion
  • Coordinate scheduling for appointments, pickups, and deliveries
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records
  • Answer and route incoming calls, emails, and inquiries
  • Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and process BOLs, invoices, and paperwork with accuracy
  • Maintain office organization and monitor supply levels
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
