About The Position

Bring your excellent customer service and organizational skills to UW Health. We are seeking an Administrative Operations Assistant to: Coordinate daily administrative workflows, including calendar management, maintenance of meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes, and coordinating activities and schedules of department teams to support efficient nursing leadership operations. Serve as the liaison between the Pediatric Inpatient Nursing Director and internal/external stakeholders, routing questions and supporting communication needs within and outside of the department. Provide support to the department as it relates to payroll, time-off, policies, procedures, education and scheduling. Coordinate and monitor departmental needs, including purchasing supplies, services or equipment. Support project and operational initiatives, including data gathering, meeting preparation and follow up tasks, ad logistics for department-wide programs or improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • 1 year experience in an administrative support role Required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related field Preferred
  • 3 years experience in an administrative support function Preferred
  • Previous experience in a health care setting Preferred
