The Administrative Officer is an experienced professional that shall support the day-to-day and long term operations under the under the Parking Director. This position is responsible for coordinating administrative processes including monitoring parking and valet operational systems, schedules, capacity tracking, driving records of UCSF-approved drivers across campus. Duties include maintaining accurate records, overseeing revenue transaction processing, generating operational and financial reports, and ensuring adherence to regulations and procedures. Requires a demonstration of strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and the public in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Administrative Officer role is responsible for overseeing the planning, management, and daily operations of UCSF’s parking and valet infrastructure across multiple campus locations. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused services while aligning operations with institutional goals, compliance requirements, and long-term sustainability objectives. In conjunction with the Interim Director of Parking and managers, develop and execute short- and long-range strategies in alignment with UCSF’s institutional goals, including access equity, sustainability, and campus growth. This role shall also spearhead deployment of modernized parking systems and digital solutions, including kiosks, mobile platforms, and access control integration. Optimize service delivery and data reporting through innovation. Monitor all parking programs and infrastructure, including emerging technology (e.g., hybrid automation, permit issuance and tracking, time and schedule tracking). Ensure seamless and equitable services across multiple sites including Parnassus, Mission Bay, Mount Zion, and satellite locations. Ensure compliance with ADA, life safety, UC policies, audit standards, and environmental regulations. Responds to critical incidents, emergency operations, and infrastructure failures. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $78,900 - $167,300 (Annual Rate).
