Emp Status Regular Full time Work Shift What you will be doing Job Details Title: Administrative Office Specialist – Workers Compensation Job Summary (JP001367-CC_5495800 Department/Unit: FL MD LLC PT - West Palm) The Administrative Office Specialist – Workers compensation position holds exceptional customer service skills to work at our West Palm Beach, Florida out-patient facility. In this patient-facing role you will be responsible for triaging phone calls and patient inquiries, greeting and scheduling patients for appointments and procedures, conducting verification of medical insurance and patient billing/collections, authorization of services, filing/chart preparation and collaborating with adjusters, nurse case managers and carriers. In addition, they will promote a professional atmosphere through courteous communication, cooperation and respect for patients, visitors and members of the health care team. Acting as a liaison to the physicians and hospital departments, you will also be responsible for ensuring that best customer service practices are offered to patients and families.
