About The Position

This job family supports the daily operations of the Graduate Medical Education (GME) office, coordinating a broad range of administrative and programmatic functions that keep residency and fellowship programs running smoothly. Staff in these roles assist program leadership, trainees, faculty, and institutional partners by managing office workflows, scheduling, meetings, events, and communications across multiple departments and hospital units. Key responsibilities include preparing documents and reports, maintaining trainee and program records, supporting compliance requirements, coordinating onboarding activities, and assisting with the credentialing of residents and fellows into the organization. GME administrative staff ensure accurate data management, timely completion of requirements, and effective communication, contributing directly to accreditation needs and the overall success of the GME enterprise. This job family supports the coordination, integration, and administration of a wide range of operational functions within the Graduate Medical Education (GME) office. Positions in this group are responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and programmatic activities that ensure smooth operations across GME programs and affiliated departments. GME administrative staff play a key role in supporting residency and fellowship training by assisting program leadership, trainees, faculty, and institutional stakeholders. Responsibilities typically include office and workflow management, scheduling, and coordination of activities. Core functions may include preparing documents and communications of varying complexity, managing trainee and program data, monitoring required compliance and documentation, maintaining organized records, preparing reports, coordinating meetings and events, and responding to inquiries from trainees, program directors, faculty, and internal partners. These roles also support the credentialing and onboarding of residents and fellows into the organization, ensuring required documentation, access, and system activations are completed accurately and on time. GME administrative staff contribute directly to the successful execution of institutional accreditation requirements and help advance the strategic goals of the GME enterprise.

Requirements
