About The Position

Administrative Medical Coordinator - OBGYN The Administrative Medical Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support and patient care coordination for multiple OBGYN providers while fostering strong, collaborative relationships across clinical and operational departments. A core responsibility of this role is supporting the Centering Pregnancy Program by actively navigating patients through the program lifecycle, from scheduling and enrollment through ongoing participation. The coordinator plays a key role in Centering Pregnancy operations, including day-of session coordination, preparation and setup of program spaces, and ordering, organizing, and maintaining all required materials and supplies to ensure sessions run smoothly and efficiently. This role serves as a central point of contact for patients and care teams, helping to facilitate clear communication, timely scheduling, and a positive, patient-centered experience. In addition, the coordinator supports the scheduling and coordination of general OBGYN and OBGYN Imaging patients, helping to optimize access to care, manage appointment flow, and reduce delays. Administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, calendar management, scheduling administrative and clinical meetings, processing reimbursement requests, and managing inbound phone and email inquiries. This is a full-time, day shift position located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support and patient care coordination for multiple OBGYN providers
