It includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General, a campus of Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 102-bed facility, a large multispecialty provider group and visiting nurse services. The Greater Manchester Region serves a region of 300,000 people in 19 towns. The Administrative Manager reports directly to the Director of Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services or Assistant Director and works conjointly with the Clinical Coordinator of Adult Services, Clinical Coordinator of Child and Adolescent Services, Director of the Clinical Day School, and Medical Director/s. Works collaboratively with Office Managers, Coordinators and Directors in other BH Service areas. Interfaces with other departments and coordinates integration of efforts in all areas. Oversees cleaning vendor for offsite locations and coordinates the completion of all off hour’s repairs and maintenance. Directs the administrative support functions for all Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services in three locations at MMH, RGH, and 150 North Main St. Also functions as the primary building management liaison. Provides supervision to receptionists, secretaries, managed care specialists, registrars, and leads work groups of integrated administrative and clinical staff. Independently maintains databases and medical records and processes operations reports. Manages the performance of payer information, insurance verification, managed care authorizations, patient access functions, payroll, medical records, attendance records, charge entry, supply utilization and patient transportation. Reviews and processes responses to authorization and claims status. Coordinates scheduling and room use among three locations. Establishes and modifies procedures to effectively manage administrative functions; proposes significant changes in operations to Director and Assistant Director. Implements and reports system changes to support efficient operations and practice. Is flexible in carrying out and supervising performance of multiple and simultaneous demands which have significant clinical, fiscal and customer relations impact. Member of the Ambulatory Leadership Team with Director, Assistant Director, and Medical Director.
