About The Position

Ashcraft & Gerel LLP, a growing multi-state law firm with a 70-year legacy, is seeking a full-time Administrative & Family Office Assistant to support the firm’s owners in our Charleston office. This unique role combines executive-level administrative support with coordination of select personal and household matters across several business and personal ventures. This position is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage both office responsibilities and high-level personal support with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in an administrative assistant, executive assistant, household management, or similar role.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, proactive, and quick to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous administrative or executive assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide right-hand support to the firm’s owners, serving as their primary administrative assistant and point of contact.
  • Anticipate needs and ensure seamless day-to-day operations across professional and personal matters.
  • Manage and maintain complex calendars, including meetings, appointments, conferences, and personal commitments.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries.
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of the office, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
  • Monitor and replenish office supplies.
  • Manage inbound and outbound mail and deliveries.
  • Prepare, format, and proofread documents and correspondence.
  • Maintain organized records and files, including legal, personal, and administrative documents.
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with additional office tasks as needed.
  • Assist with coordination of personal properties, including scheduling maintenance and managing vendor services.
  • Organize personal and household documentation such as insurance records and service contracts.
  • Serve as a central point of communication between the owners and external professionals including attorneys, accountants, investment advisors, insurance agents, and service providers.
  • Facilitate efficient communication while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Greet and assist clients, business contacts, and visitors in a warm, professional, and confidential manner.
