About The Position

EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency dedicated to helping over 79,000 people through 100 impactful programs across Long Island and NYC, is looking for a dedicated full time Administrative Coordinator to join the Queens Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities (TASC) Program. Wage: $20 per hour Schedule: Monday- Friday: 9AM-5PM Location: 120-34 Queens Boulevard Suite 410 in Kew Gardens NY What drives the core purpose of this job: The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Program Director in coordinating program operations for the Queens TASC program.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or educational equivalent required, college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one-year work experience in either human services or alcohol/substance abuse programs required.
  • Must have pleasant phone manner, good communication skills, both oral and written as well as the ability to work cooperatively with treatment providers and court personnel.
  • Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant office experience including general office, typing, data entry, and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Director and Supervisors in coordinating daily operations of the program and supervise office operations in their absence.
  • Answer, screen and direct phone calls and perform receptionist function at program office.
  • Handle petty cash and metro card disbursements and reconciliation.
  • Perform typing and general office duties.
  • Collect, review and input client admissions, rejections and pending cases into databases and assist Program Director and Supervisors in compiling monthly reports.
  • Oversee office supplies, maintain inventory and perform administrative duties as needed.
  • Oversee client intake schedule.
  • Oversee on and offsite storage files.
  • Assist the Case Management Unit with all aspects of case coordination and preparation for DOHMH monthly audit and maintain Audit Log.
  • Perform all other relevant duties as determined by Supervision and EAC NETWORK Administration.
