About The Position

St. Louis Children's Hospital has an opportunity for an Administrative Coordinator to support the Neurophysiology Team. Duties will include: Management of patient scheduling for both inpatient and outpatient electroencephalogram (EEG) studies for pediatric patients, handling all incoming phone inquiries. Coordination of patient flow by prioritizing appointments and delegating tasks to inpatient and outpatient lab staff to maximize departmental efficiency. Maintaining accurate patient records and track study data using departmental spreadsheets and data entry systems. Processing billing and charging for completed studies. Role Purpose Provides administrative support to the department(s) as assigned. Additionally, the role coordinates special/specific projects and programs as per department management.

Responsibilities

  • Management of patient scheduling for both inpatient and outpatient electroencephalogram (EEG) studies for pediatric patients, handling all incoming phone inquiries.

  • Types and distributes memos, correspondence and reports and composes documents as needed.
  • Coordinates and administers all office supplies and materials.
  • Schedules meetings and appointments, routes correspondence.
  • Provides support to office assistants as assigned.
