This position supports the compliance team with administrative support for new hospice admissions. The administrative coordinator ensures that the proper documentation exists to support the billable admission and gathers any missing documentation from team members, HOC providers, and community physicians. Job Overview: This position provides administrative and operational support in a group office setting. This could include interfacing with doctors, managers and supervisors, patients, and the public. This position is a highly visible and technical but non-supervisory role that may handle such duties as triaging of telephone calls for the office’s managers/supervisors/physicians, along with human resources transactions and records, data reporting, and general administrative support duties. This role differs from an Administrative Secretary in that it does not necessarily support a Director level, but rather an office setting in which managers, supervisors and/or practitioners of varying levels depend on high-level administrative and operational support.
