Raytheon is hiring a Senior Administrative Assistant to perform a wide variety of secretarial and clerical tasks in support of an assigned level of management. Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Experience scheduling meetings, both internal and external.
  • Experience composing reports, correspondence and memorandums; reviewing drafts for spelling and grammar.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up and maintains alphabetical, numerical and/or subject files.
  • Arrange meetings, appointments and conferences.
  • Receives, refers and answers electronic and hardcopy mail.
  • Utilize office software applications and other office tools and equipment.
  • Composes reports, correspondence and memorandums.
  • Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate spelling and grammar.
  • Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
  • Manage expense reports and advice on travel and expense policies.
  • Cross training other administrative professionals to ensure a proper succession plan is in place.
  • May assist in directing work, assigning and outlining tasks.
