About The Position

The position performs a wide range of administrative, operational, and office support activities related to academic and general support to faculty, staff, residents/residency program, and students. This position is responsible to the Department of Pharmacy Practice Chair for coordinating, organizing, and overseeing administrative support activities for the Department of Pharmacy Practice; serves approximately 23 faculty/staff members in various capacities, supports the School of Pharmacy committees, search committees, and serves as a facilities/equipment and safety resource, and telephone administration for Sudro 118 suite and the department as a whole. Vacancy in this position would lead to abundant challenges and missed opportunities for student and faculty recruitment and retention.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or 2 years work experience in an administrative support role
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to contribute to a professional and team work environment in a positive, effective manner
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience creating and using spreadsheets
  • Proficient Microsoft computer skills
