About The Position

Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a world-renowned academic research institute of Louisiana State University, is seeking an Administrative Coordinator 4 in Fiscal Operations. This is a classified position, and rules of the position are governed by State Civil Service. Following Policies and Procedures: The ability to follow, reinforce, adapt, or develop policies and procedures to maintain compliance with federal and state legal requirements, State Civil Service rules, and organizational policies.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience in administrative services.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares purchasing requisitions for majority of service, supplies, and equipment that requires a Purchase Order for the entire campus.
  • Provides oversight, coordination, and record keeping of all source documentation as required in the procurement process.
  • Maintains monthly telecommunication internal billings or teleconferencing, cellular service, and other miscellaneous telecommunication services.
  • Maintains monthly copier billings for all copies made on Center photocopiers and maintains copier coordination and oversight for the photocopiers on the campus.
  • Received on Purchase Orders in Financial System once verification of receipt has been confirmed.
  • Any special projects or duties as assigned.
