The position of Administrative Clerk – Locksmith in the Security Department handles several administrative and security related tasks. This includes but is not limited to the following: Filling Key Requests. Cutting new or replacement keys and coordinating emergency lock repairs. Maintain accurate records of locks, new installations and repairs. Uses and maintains adequate inventory of parts, locksmith supplies, tools and equipment. Classified Repository Management including establishing and dis-establishing safes. X-Series and Cypher Lock combo changes. S & G lock combo changes. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives. Individual must possess excellent organization skills and ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers for security policies and procedures as it pertains to the locksmith role. Ability to work independently and make conscious decisions in a high volume environment. This position is a represented hourly, so the individual will be required to join the Metal Trades Council (MTC). Other related duties will be assigned as required.
