About The Position

BlackRock is looking for a highly capable Administrative Business Partner who operates with precision, proactivity and a strong sense of ownership to join BlackRock’s Finance and Strategy organization, supporting the firm’s Global Treasurer. The Treasury team manages the firm’s liquidity, capital, funding and financial risks globally, and partners with internal stakeholders and external banks to support BlackRock’s long-term objectives. This role requires a motivated, resourceful and organized professional who can anticipate needs, exercise discretion, and independently manage priorities to maximize leader effectiveness in a fast-paced global environment. The position is based at BlackRock’s headquarter in New York.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years of relevant administrative experience, ideally within financial services or similar complex global organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with aggressive deadlines, accuracy and high attention to detail
  • Highly organized, proactive, solution oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, with curiosity and openness to new technology
  • Self-starter with the ability to contribute to implementing new procedures, approaches, and technology to drive improvements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - clear, simple, and direct
  • Professional and confident in interactions with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information in all aspects of work

Responsibilities

  • Managing daily calendars for one or more individuals, scheduling internal and external meetings and committees, anticipating and resolving calendar conflicts, managing competing priorities
  • Coordinating meeting or team event logistics, including conference rooms, AV support, catering, printing, compliance with security procedures; meet and greet external visitors such as banks
  • Proactively assess and address issues before they arise while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Monitor primary manager emails, identifying action and signature items, ensuring queries are responded to and approval items are addressed and tracked in a timely manner
  • Run scheduled processes and batch jobs, reporting and escalating issues based on system outputs; track open action items and coordinate follow‑ups with relevant parties to ensure responses are received in a timely manner
  • Coordinate global travel arrangements, process and track expense reports, handle invoices and certificates
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects and administrative requests in a timely and thorough manner
