About The Position

Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring Administrative Associates Full Time Day shift available Full Time Night shift available in the Emergency Department The Administrative Associate is responsible for various administrative and operational tasks. This position provides clerical support, manages patient records, schedules appointments, and handles patient inquiries. The role involves collaborating with medical staff, management, and patients to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. The AA provides administrative support to the unit or department assigned. Serves as first point of contact for patients, family members and visitors on unit assigned requiring the application of excellent customer service skills. Sentara CarePlex Hospit a l , located in Hampton, VA, is a 224-bed technologically advanced, acute care facility, and Certified Primary Stroke Center. Other features include specialized services in heart and vascular, urologic care, along with advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities, a hospitalist program, and one of the state's busiest emergency departments. We are also home to the Orthopedic Hospital at Sentara CarePlex Hospital, the area's first dedicated orthopedic hospital. We improve health every day, come be a part of the community.
