About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to provide a variety of business and clerical support functions that allow the CDSA to maximize agency revenues and staff efficiency and comply with state and federal requirements. This position serves as a member of a team with shared work responsibilities including, reception duties, billing and reimbursement, providing clerical support to direct services staff, and creating and maintaining client medical records following applicable agency, state and federal laws and guidelines. The position is also responsible for data entry of client information in computer databases, responding to requests for client information from other agencies, and archiving records according to agency and state guidelines. Duties may be adjusted in response to staffing patterns and/or to meet the needs of the agency.

Requirements

  • High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • This position requires experience with Windows and Microsoft office programs, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of any other programs is a plus.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a busy office environment and work effectively with a diverse population.
  • Must have customer service skills and be able to interact and communicate with the public.
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and organizational skills are essential to this position.
