Your Role: Part-time Housing Administrative Assistant As the Housing Administrative Assistant, you’ll provide essential administrative and clerical support to the Zion Campus Team, ensuring the smooth operation of housing programs and enhancing the quality of service for residents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, family therapy, or a related human services field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field plus two (2) years of documented clinical experience in a mental health setting under a QMHP.
  • High school diploma or GED plus five (5) years of documented clinical experience in mental health or human services.
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency required.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience, with Excel proficiency.
  • Experience in crisis intervention, case management, or advocacy.
  • Strong trauma-informed skills, communication, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to develop and present client programs using technology.
  • Cultural competence and adherence to professional ethics (e.g., NASW Code of Ethics).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Effective time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Commitment to supporting survivors and fostering a violence-free society.
  • Familiarity with domestic violence dynamics and survivor challenges.
  • Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Waitlist Management: Assist the Director with client communications, scheduling, assessments, and application processing.
  • Service Coordination: Schedule client appointments for supportive services.
  • Administrative Duties: Process requests, order supplies, and manage paperwork, logs, and grant-related data.
  • Client Engagement: Handle inquiries and address client needs.
  • Data Management: Maintain case files, perform grant-related bookkeeping, and complete data entry.
  • Professional Conduct: Engage clients authentically, maintain boundaries, and adhere to ethical standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of the team.
  • Training: Complete IM+CANS certification and 40-hour Domestic Violence training within the first month; complete Safe Zone, Mandated Reporter, and other required trainings within 60 days.
  • Participation: Attend mandatory meetings, training, and team activities, and take on additional tasks as needed.
