About The Position

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant in Yadkinville, NC. H ow will you play an integral role? The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Manufacturing departments, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. This role serves as a key point of contact for visitors, customers, employees, and external callers, and therefore requires a consistently high level of professionalism, discretion, and courtesy. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to represent Unifi in a positive and professional manner. What is essential for success? Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One or more years of experience in office administration preferred as an Administrative Assistant, or have strong office or clerical skills/experience
  • Must have knowledge of office administrative procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience interacting and effectively communicating professionally with visitors, customers and employees
  • Teamwork & Autonomy - The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Attention to Detail - Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in documentation, scheduling, and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Organize, prioritize, and track information and data
  • Generate reports as needed
  • Establish and maintain filing and tracking systems
  • Respond to requests for information and handle non-routine information confidentially
  • Answer calls and route messages
  • Prepare general correspondence and presentations
  • Sort and distribute mail; send written or email responses
  • Act as a liaison with other departments and external agencies, including high-level staff
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements
  • Assist with meeting preparation, including conference room setup, catering, and materials
  • Order materials and supplies as needed
  • Order and maintain tube inventory
  • Assist with inventory counts within the plant
  • Perform other administrative duties as directed to support team and operational needs
