DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND SCOPE: Handle administrative requests and queries from Supervisors Process orders with accuracy Maintain daily timecard entries and submit weekly payroll Deliver and organize communication between office and production General clerical duties including photocopying and scanning Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system Resolve administrative problems and inquiries Maintain office supply inventories Miscellaneous projects and duties as requested by Supervisors Cover receptionist duties such as daily visitors and distractions QUALIFICATIONS: The skills and specifications that an office assistant needs are as follows: Have outstanding organizational & cleanliness skills Be good at planning Have problem solving abilities Be friendly and outgoing Have good written and verbal skills Accurate and detail oriented Be a team player Be able to prioritize tasks Be able to work under pressure Have computer and Internet skills Have the ability to make decisions with confidence but without arrogance Have the ability to absorb knowledge and learn quickly Have knowledge of administrative procedures
