About The Position

Working from the office in Athens, Alabama, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for records keeping of files, as well as the daily administrative tasks of the school such as answering phones and emails, receiving visitors, assisting the Principal and teachers with administrative tasks, filing and other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • High Level Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and web-based applications is essential
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Customer focused approach
  • High degree of flexibility
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced team environment
  • Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication

Nice To Haves

  • Data analysis experience preferred
  • Experience with uploading of documents between multiple information platforms

Responsibilities

  • Entering data into the online student information system
  • Uploading / Downloading files from various data platforms
  • Generating reports, creating spreadsheets and pivot tables
  • Answering the phones
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Speak with Parents and Students
  • Assist school Principal with a wide variety of daily responsibilities
  • Additional duties as assigned
