About The Position

Full time (40 hours weekly) 8:30a-5:00p General Summary Performs diversified and confidential administrative duties. Requires an intermediate degree of technical and communications/interpersonal skills, knowledge, and ability. May administer/coordinate programs, projects, and/or processes as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions: Composes from dictation and documents memorandums, policies, committee minutes, manuals, letters, forms, procedures, and other general typing as directed, initiating other correspondence as appropriate. Answers telephones, routes callers, takes messages and provides routine information to callers. Schedules appointments; maintains and updates daily calendar(s). Schedules, coordinates and/or arranges meetings, appointments and/or facilities. Attends meetings and records minutes, as required. Collects information needed by leader or team for conferences and/or reports. Sets up and maintains files and records which may contain confidential information. Takes and transcribes dictation of a highly confidential nature. Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled or special reports, analyzes and statements. Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files or cloud-based systems using knowledge of various computer software applications. Opens and routes incoming mail; distributes correspondence and other material to staff. Administers/coordinates programs, projects, and/or processes as assigned. Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation. The following are nonessential job accountabilities for ADA purposes: Makes travel and lodging arrangements directly or through travel agencies. Prepares PO payment requests as directed. Orders office supplies as necessary. Greets and directs visitors. Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED Required Associates Degree Business Administration Preferred Work Experience: 2 years Required
