About The Position

Lighthouse Lab Services is working with a new reference laboratory in Austin, TX delivering comprehensive clinical testing services with a commitment to scientific excellence and compliance. Join a dedicated team working with Horiba and Thermo Fisher Scientific analyzers across core lab functions. As a Core Lab Technologist you’ll perform a broad range of clinical testing and support daily operations in a high-quality laboratory environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience with core testing disciplines (chemistry, hematology, immunology, serology).
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with automated core lab instrumentation (e.g., Horiba, Thermo Fisher) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Performing routine and specialty testing in chemistry, hematology, immunology, and serology.
Operating and maintaining automated analyzers (Horiba, Thermo Fisher) and performing QC and calibration activities.
Reviewing test results, documenting findings, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to lab protocols.
Preparing specimens, reagents, and controls; troubleshooting instrument issues in partnership with supervisor/technical specialists.
Complying with laboratory safety, regulatory standards, and quality assurance practices.
