About The Position

The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of general administrative tasks to support the day-to-day operations for federal staff in a government agency, including preparing reports, managing schedules, coordinating travel, and maintaining records. This position serves as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, assists with special projects, processes invoices and purchase requisitions, compiles data for program and financial reports, and drafts, edits, and distributes internal and external communications. The role is performed on-site at a government facility in Washington, DC. Requirements

  • BA/BS in a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of related experience
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience preparing reports, correspondence, and financial documentation to include managing scheduling, travel, and records
  • Experience coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with or ability to process invoices and purchase requisitions
  • Existing Public Trust or the ability to obtain one

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) language skills
