About The Position

This position is for an Administrative Assistant at The Ritz-Carlton, which is part of Marriott International. The role encompasses a wide range of administrative and guest service duties, crucial for maintaining efficient office operations and upholding the high standards of luxury hospitality. Key responsibilities include managing information in computer databases, updating records, handling reservations, and responding to guest inquiries. The assistant will also be responsible for transmitting documents, operating various office equipment, and preparing professional correspondence using different software. Furthermore, the role involves managing mail, maintaining filing systems, and compiling reports. Beyond administrative tasks, the position requires adherence to company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, ensuring confidentiality, and protecting company assets. Requirements

  • Ability to enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball.
  • Proficiency in transmitting information or documents using a computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment other than computers.
  • Skill in preparing letters, memos, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
  • Capability to handle incoming and outgoing mail, including date stamping and distributing.
  • Aptitude for creating and maintaining computer- and paper-based filing and organization systems.
  • Ability to compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
  • Competence in entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintenance of a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Capability to welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
