About The Position

The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operations of daily tasks at the Steven Tanger Center. This position plays a key role in supporting the Accounting Department and the Booking Manager.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of general accounting and administrative experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of office practices and procedures.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and telephone systems.
  • Excellent organizational and strong attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls and distributing calls to appropriate staff.
  • Greeting visitors and responding to general inquiries.
  • Sort/distribute inbound mail and UPS, preparation of outbound mail.
  • Review customer/client invoices for accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain records and files both electronic and physical.
  • Order and maintain office supply inventory.
  • Support monthly and annual closings.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
