About The Position

Sacred Heart Catholic School is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of the school office. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced school environment. The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, collaborative, and bilingual. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative and clerical support to the school administration and front office Manage multiple tasks efficiently while prioritizing responsibilities appropriately Communicate clearly and professionally with students, parents, faculty, staff, and visitors Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and general office operations Support a positive school culture through teamwork, problem-solving, and service Respond constructively to feedback and direction from supervisors Adapt to changing needs and responsibilities throughout the school day

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, web-based tools, basic graphic design platforms (Canva), and ability to learn new platforms as needed.
  • Presents a professional image in speech, dress, and demeanor
  • Demonstrates creativity, initiative, and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Works collaboratively and actively promotes teamwork
  • Self-motivated with the ability to plan and execute tasks independently

  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of an FBI Level II background screening and Safe Environment Training, in accordance with diocesan and school policies.
