DMBA (Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators) is a non-profit organization that administers benefits for companies who are owned or affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Description: This is a unique position which will provide support both to the Executive Assistant to the President of Missionary Medical and provide support to the Volunteer Program Administrator's team. Some duties involved in the support of the Executive Assistant will be planning, coordinating, and overseeing activities, luncheons, events, and meetings, in addition to other administrative duties. The main goal in the Volunteer Program Administrator's team will be assisting with the onboarding and provisioning of senior medical missionaries. Training, Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Strong desire to help others and a commitment to excellent customer service. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively with senior management and their assistants in the Missionary Department, vendors, and users of varying technical backgrounds. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Outlook. Technologically adept and quick to learn new systems. Ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Previous experience independently working through the many phases of coordinating, planning, and executing events. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize and complete multiple tasks, sometimes under pressure, while meeting deadlines. Responsibilities and Expectations Deliver expert-level support via phone or email to prospective and current senior medical missionaries, ecclesiastical leaders, Directors and Managers at the Missionary Department, their staff, and other Church entities - e.g. Global Services, HR, Service Mission Office, etc. Develop and maintain professional business relationships with employees within DMBA, Missionary Medical, the Missionary Department and supporting entities, as well as vendors outside of the organization. Manage calendaring of meetings and preparation of agendas, follow-through after meetings by sending out reports and other associated data, and other duties as assigned. Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of meetings, luncheons, activities - including retreats - hosted by Missionary Medical where personnel of all levels participate. Manage user access for appropriate applications used during missionary service. Troubleshoot and resolve technical and administrative issues, escalating complex problems as needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of supported systems, applications, and best practices. Track and document processes and procedures to ensure accurate and successful outcomes. Preferred Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, healthcare, or technology Experience working in a business environment and providing technical support. Experience supporting computer users with varying degrees of proficiency is highly desirable. Familiarity with missionary culture and organizational structures; experience with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' missionary programs.
