About The Position

Responsible for office management and supervising staff. Performs administrative and budget related duties. Assists the CEO with project responsibilities. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three to five years in office management or bookkeeping

Responsibilities

  • Order supplies; completes and authorizes requisitions.
  • Compile and organize data for annual department budget.
  • Monitor and reconcile expenditures of budgeted funds.
  • Put together data from different sources for special projects; prepares reports.
  • Perform secretarial duties, i.e., typing, dictation, correspondence, preparing reports, memos.
  • Supervise receptionist staff, to include hiring, training, staff scheduling, employee relations, and termination of staff
  • Maintain department staff records; records are kept confidential.
  • Answer the telephone in a professional manner; directs calls appropriately.
  • Maintain department records, files, policy and procedure manual.
  • Schedule meetings between departments, directors/managers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be flexible and organized.
  • Manage and operate equipment safely and correctly.
  • Responsible for credentialing medical staff, and maintaining credential files
  • Assist in coordinating travel arrangements for hospital leadership and staff, when necessary
  • Assist in preparing quarterly meeting agendas
  • Coordinate onsite meetings, to include dietary needs and room availability
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
