About The Position

NuChoice Home Care is a growing personal care and home health agency serving clients and families across Western Pennsylvania. We’re looking for a motivated Administrative Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow with us. Position Overview The Administrative Assistant plays a critical role in keeping our office running smoothly. You’ll work directly alongside our Operations, HR, and Billing teams to support day-to-day administrative functions including scheduling, data entry, phones, and communications. This is an in-office position — you’ll be a core part of our team, not a remote role.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) — this is a must
  • Strong phone presence — professional, clear, and personable
  • Ability to write clear, professional emails independently
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Dependable, punctual, and a team player
  • Prior office or administrative experience preferred
  • Experience in home care, healthcare, or a medical office is a plus but not required
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar — preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional, friendly manner
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized electronic records
  • Assist with caregiver and client scheduling coordination
  • Support HR with onboarding paperwork, filing, and employee record maintenance
  • Draft and send professional emails and correspondence on behalf of the team
  • Manage office documents, forms, and filing systems (physical and digital)
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager or CEO
  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT, etc.) to help draft communications, summarize information, or streamline workflows
