The Administrative Assistant composes routine and general type correspondence, answers and screens incoming calls and visitors for the Center Director’s office, arranges meetings and appointments, and keeps the Center Director advised. This role involves reviewing and distributing correspondence, relaying information to Directors, editing correspondence, and maintaining comprehensive filing systems. The assistant is also responsible for maintaining various logs, preparing special reports and PPT presentations, attending meetings and distributing minutes, and ensuring timely submission of reports. The position requires continual support and adherence to the CDSS/CSS/BMS Plan, ensuring the safety, health, and security of students, staff, and property, and complying with all DOL guidelines and Center policies. The role also involves working towards performance standard goals, maintaining good housekeeping, following the CDSS plan and Code of Conduct, and modeling Career Success Standards.
