The administrative assistant provides general administrative and clerical support to a department or group of professionals in an effort to achieve departmental and corporate goals and objectives. Responsibilities include independently researching a wide variety of information requests, composing routine correspondence, issuing regular reports following established procedures; collecting, summarizing and assembling charts, graphs and tables. The position involves contact with the public, vendors, management and co-workers.
