About The Position

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to an OSF Vice President, Director and/or Department Manager. Maintains the leader(s) calendar, schedules appointments, resolves scheduling conflicts and makes travel arrangements. Provides general clerical support such record keeping, answering/routing calls, writing documents and creating presentations. Manages projects as assigned. Prioritizes work with minimal supervision. Demonstrates a high level of competence and professionalism including excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of secretary and/or administrative experience.
  • Intermediate level in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with email and calendaring systems.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills in previous job or classwork.
  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritizing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree.
  • Working knowledge of MS Project and OneNote.
  • Office Professional Certification.
