About The Position

The Worldwide Amazon Stores organization is looking for an Administrative Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are seeking an exceptionally talented, dependable, customer-obsessed, and self-motivated Administrative Assistant to work under the direct supervision of the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Fulfillment by Amazon Product & Tech in either Bellevue or Seattle, WA. The role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information, and self-motivation. Must have the ability to communicate well, manage multiple assignments and people simultaneously, and maintain professionalism in dealing with managers and executives.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Are 21 years of age or older
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives
  • Experience with executive level calendar management
  • Experience managing events/meetings in a global company

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience with end-to-end project management
  • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
  • Can manage a high volume of requests and competing deadlines
  • Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
  • Experience leading process improvements
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision, or 1+ years of Amazon experience
  • High level of integrity and discretion

Responsibilities

  • Back up of calendar and scheduling requirements for the VP.
  • Coordinate travel and create detailed itineraries.
  • Complete and file expense reports.
  • Supporting logistics and planning for leadership meetings and ownership in managing team morale events.
  • Tracking and helping drive completion of deliverables and following up on outstanding items.
  • Special projects as assigned.
