About The Position

The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to all of the District Managers (DM) in a given region. The responsibilities listed on this position analysis are not intended to be all-inclusive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • high school diploma or its equivalent
  • 1 year of clerical or office administration experience with MS Office experience
  • knowledge of retail operations and department processes
  • knowledge of general office procedures
  • computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Publix Connection
  • ability to work independently with little supervision
  • written and verbal communication skills
  • multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • willingness to work a flexible schedule with possible extended hours

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in business
  • 1 year of clerical or office administration experience with MS Office experience and 1 year of retail experience

Responsibilities

  • assisting and supporting the District Manager in a centralized location
  • reading and responding to emails while a DM is on vacation or otherwise out of the office for a long period of time
