About The Position

Administrative Assistant (PRN) - Paragon Infusion Centers A proud member of the Elevance Health family of companies, Paragon Healthcare brings over 20 years in providing life-saving and life-giving infusible and injectable drug therapies through our specialty pharmacies, our infusion centers, and the home setting. The Administrative Assistant - Paragon Infusion Centers is responsible for overseeing patient check-in, registration, and checkout. How you will make an impact: Oversees staff and processes for check-in, verifying charts are pulled for scheduled appointments, demographics/eligibility is updated, and current forms are being utilized. Listens and responds to patient and/or family members concerns. Responds to patient questions and complaints, routes issues to appropriate personnel. Analyzes daily administrative operations and utilization of resources. Assists in Medic user issues. Ensures proper cash controls are in place and policy and procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • Requires a HS diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of lead/supervisory experience in a health care environment; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
  • For Carelon Health business units, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred not required
  • 1+ Years of medical front office experience preferred
  • Prior authorization experience preferred
  • Inbound call experience preferred
  • Customer service experience in a medical or professional setting preferred
