About The Position

Administrative Assistant – Paragon Infusion Centers Location: 21927 Clay Road, Suite 900 Katy, TX Clinic Hours: M – F; 8am – 4pm Schedule: Full - Time This role requires associates to work from the posted location full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for overseeing patient check-in, registration, and checkout. How you will make an impact: Processes for check-in, verifying charts are pulled for scheduled appointments, demographics/eligibility is updated, and current forms are being utilized.

Requirements

  • Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of lead/supervisory experience in a health care environment; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • For Carelon Health business units, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Medical office experience preferred.
  • Medical insurance knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Listens and responds to patient and/or family members concerns.
  • Responds to patient questions and complaints; routes issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Analyzes daily administrative operations and utilization of resources.
  • Assists in NextGen user issues.
  • Ensures proper cash controls are in place and policy and procedures are followed.
