PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Reviews applications, reports, and other documents for accuracy and completeness. Refers to supervisor when necessary. 2. Opens, date stamps, and distributes mail. 3. Prepares correspondence and reports. 4. Completes paperwork as directed. 5. Provides program information and eligibility requirements in person, over the phone and through e-mail. 6. Supports staff of the Adult and Dislocated Workers Program, as well as the Opportunity Youth Program. 7. Answers phone and distributes messages. 8. Maintains mailing lists of participants and community partners. 9. Assists with preparing and verifying youth payroll. 10. Maintains records and files. 11. Orders, stores, and distributes office supplies. 12. Assists with proctoring Basic Skills tests. 13. Utilizes electronic and manual recording systems. 14. Performs other duties as assigned.
