WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: We have an opening on our Donor Services team for an Administrative Assistant to support our Virginia and Kentucky Regional leadership teams. This is a onsite position at our facility at 2825 Emerywood Parkway, Richmond, VA. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years of related administrative experience required.
  • Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively implement programs is preferred.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training and presentation skills, are required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in personal computer use and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient typing skills required.
  • Ability to work on a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Outlook & Microsoft Suite Experience Highly Preferred
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & TEAMS Highly Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain memos, records, reports, data or correspondence for staff signature.
  • Review correspondence for consistency with corporate policies and practices.
  • Assist in the development of presentations.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as maintaining and collecting data, coordinating the provision of organizational services (i.e. purchasing, supplies, catering, copying/printing), coordinating unit mail and communication flow, assisting in expenditure tracking and budget preparation.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and associated expenses
  • Screen telephone and office callers and resolve routine inquiries.
  • Answer routine requests and direct others to the supervisor, appropriate staff member, or another office.
  • Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments, meetings, events, program initiatives, and travel itineraries.
