About The Position

This is a professional level position located in the Department of Revenue’s Office of Workforce Management (OWM) that is responsible for providing administrative support to all business processes within OWM.

Requirements

  • At least two years of professional administrative support experience in an office setting.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

  • Administrative support experience in a human resources office.
  • Experience using MyFloridaMarketplace/Ariba on Demand to make purchases of goods or services and maintain documentation.
  • Experience coordinating and processing state employee travel.
  • Experience with SharePoint or SharePoint Online.

Responsibilities

  • Managing front desk operations, including answering and directing incoming calls and greeting customers.
  • Monitoring OWM email accounts and routing emails to the appropriate business process.
  • Handling all purchasing activities for OWM.
  • Coordinating and processing travel requests and completing travel-related documentation.
  • Preparing letters, certificates, and other correspondence as directed by management.
  • Assisting with employee program activities, such as food drives, blood drives, and recognition.
  • Conducting property inventory and surplus.
