About The Position

The Administrative Assistant shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost. This position provides quality and professional administrative support to the Western and Central Divisions of Disciplemakers for Life, with the prospect of support to additional Divisions in the next 12 months from the date of hire. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Administrative Responsibilities - 100% of time Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Inbox management Scheduling Meeting agendas and notetaking Document preparation Maintenance of systems as they directly relate to the Divisions Sit on the D4L Operations Team in a secondary administrative capacity Attend regular meetings Any other duties as assigned by Division Director(s) Additional Responsibilities Participate in Navigators’ on-site learning and development events, Cultural Development and Diversity trainings, or other non-Navigator developmental events as appropriate. Participate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver’s Authorization, and other releases as required. Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system. Submit expense reports, due the 15th of each month. Other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.
  • This role requires strong organization and time management skills with an emphasis on customer service.
  • At least 1 years of experience as an administrative professional.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to learn new software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal & written, to create understanding and build strong working relationships required.
  • Associate’s degree required.
