Join the dynamic team at the Kentucky Historical Society as a Visitor Services Associate, where your passion for history will come to life! This role is essential to our mission, supporting your colleagues and helping create unforgettable experiences for our visitors. As the first point of contact for members and guests at the Kentucky History Center and Museums, you'll play a pivotal role in showcasing our state's rich heritage. Imagine yourself at the heart of the action, where every day brings new opportunities to engage with history enthusiasts and curious explorers alike. You will be cross-trained to work across all areas of guest services, from the 1792 Gift Store to the reception desks at our three sites: the Kentucky History Center, the Old State Capitol, and the Kentucky Military History Museum. Plus, you'll assist with rentals and special events that make history come alive for everyone who walks through our doors. This is an opportunity to connect people with Kentucky's vibrant history while working in a collaborative and inspiring environment. The Kentucky Historical Society (KHS), formed in 1836, is an agency in Kentucky’s Tourism, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet.
