About The Position

CentraCare’s Adult Addiction Services is seeking an Administrative Assistant I to join the team! In this role, you will provide receptionist services along with clerical and administrative support to the department, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: Provide professional and courteous assistance for patients and visitors Create patient handouts, letters and manuals as needed Assist patients with billing and insurance inquiries and scheduling of appointments Coordinate internal and external referrals and manage work queues Collaborate with leadership to manage patient volumes and ensure admissions align with program requirements Order and maintain department supplies Position Details: Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Adult Addiction Services – Midsota Various 8-hour shifts Monday – Friday between 7:30 am – 4:30 pm Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $17.93 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience Pay range: $17.00 - $25.54 per hour Full-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Familiarity with medical and psychological terminology 1 year post high school training in clerical or secretarial activities or one year of equivalent administrative/clerical experience preferred Knowledge of business practice regarding insurance coverage, and billing and collection procedures preferred CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce. Requirements
