Job Summary The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support for daily HR and Volunteer needs. This role ensures smooth execution of HR processes, assists with staff engagement initiatives, and supports volunteer programs aligned with organizational culture and mission.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative support preferred
  • Candidate must possess advanced technical skills and proficiency in modern technology
  • Heart for Christian ministry
  • Strong moral character
  • Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Spiritually grounded and working knowledge of scripture
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS and volunteer management systems
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Exhibits a hunger to learn

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support in various capacities
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies by leading file conversion project.
  • Scan and upload I-9 files
  • Assist in executing staff engagement activities
  • Collaborate with departments to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Help maintain internal communication channels for HR and engagement updates via Paylocity Community Page
  • Support Recruiting with external job postings, reference checks, and new hire merch distribution and inventory tracking.
  • Collaborate with HR partner Higginbotham, to complete the onboarding, offboarding, and promotion management.
  • Implement recruitment strategies for volunteers ensuring mission and cultural alignment.
  • Maintain and optimize volunteer systems for event planning, communication, and data tracking.
  • Ensure system maintenance, updates, and background check processes.
  • Support volunteer recognition efforts, appreciation events, and ID badge processes.
  • Maintain SOPs, volunteer guidelines, and training documents.
  • Collaborate across departments to identify volunteer needs and plan for ministry growth.
  • Create/Update SOPs, volunteer guidelines, and training documents
  • Committed to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be spiritually grounded and biblically literate.
  • Comfortable praying for co-workers in team meetings, leading spoken prayer, and participating in ministry prayer meetings and Bible studies.
  • Lives by the Christian principles defined by the Ministry Statement of Faith.
  • Participates in on-air fundraisers and prays for donors as needed.
  • Has a passion for leveraging the platform of radio for evangelism and discipleship.
  • Exhibits a strong moral character.
  • Is an active member of a Bible believing local church.
  • Other duties as requested.
